Even if it were free, i wonder why they just relase maps as of Q1 2017.
is that cheaper for Naviextras at license costs?

But for sure, i will not pay 112 for that. Better used for an Pro Version of an Smartphone Navi. :)

And still wait for a answer from my dealer. Maybe they give a heart and make it for free.
Yes agreed why pay for something so out of date, and Waze is better anyway ;)
I find Waze is brilliant so don't bother with LR bad tempered navigation.

No problem. It was a particularly long download despite the fact that I've got 50mbps fibre internet. I started it off at 7pm and it was still going at 11pm when I went off to bed. It had completed by the time I got up at 5.30am.
Currently downloading, even with a fast interweb it does take ages. The file size isn't so much the issue but the LR servers are probably running at full connection capacity

Got a notification in the car this morning for yet another map update.

However the website has been down all day. Anyone else having issues?

Finally the site is up and working again

I am getting fed up with monthly updates tbh, particularly as I don't use satnav, but I have succumbed again! Primarily as I am going to Glasgow next week and Aberdeen the following and it might be useful.

I don't mind the updates so much as the size and time to download off very slow servers.

Incremental updates would be better

I don't think they have mastered updates properly it removes and replaces every time.
Should have an incremental as stated above.

However updates are good and they are free for the first 3 years , plus you don't have to update it every release .

Just purchased a DS SEtech 2016 from local stealer and found the map not updated even though LR Approved 165 check but the Map update not included! Not happy to pay ÂŁ97 , every time to update, wouldn't be so bad if it was a one off fee like I had for an old Garmin

Just noticed the following map update is available for the InControl Touch system:

27.3.10292 (available Dec 2018 and includes map data from 2017 Q3)

Incidentally, I have compiled the following list of map updates:

JLRNLIFC6EU;HMEEU2014Q1;20140828 (original maps 2014 Q1)
25.3.9550 Sept 2016 (2015 Q3)
26.1.9780 Feb 2017 (2016 Q1)
26.3.9908 June 2017 (2016 Q3)
27.1.10033 Sept 2018 (2017 Q1)
27.3.10292 Dec 2018 (2017 Q3)

Currently driving an Evoque HSE loan car and the satnav doesn't have a map! I suppose this must be because they haven't registered the In Control App.
(Electric seat adjustment not working either - not a great ad for the brand!)

if you only have the standard system you pay for updates , with the pro system updates are free for 3 years.

So today the car helpfully informs me that there is a new map update.

Seven bloody hours to download it and I'm on a 70 meg connection!

Oh please Land Rover make them incremental or failing that allow us to chose individual countries to download.
