I've had my DS back after a service.
I'd asked why it didn't alert me to the service as scheduled?
Apparently LR are aware of some DS vehicles that have a glitch which prevents the service status appearing. As you'd expect no immediate fix just the usual "we're working on it". I've asked the dealer to chase in a few weeks for an update.

If I hear anything I'll let the Forum know.

21, 350 miles - 11months old.
I pushed it as long as felt comfortable beyond the 21k service interval for ingenium, no service indication from the vehicle at all.

My iPhone told me my service was due at about 9 months and 10,000 miles, The dealer told me to ignore it and that its not due until 21,000 or two years!

I suspect this is a left-over from the fast one they pulled on us by selling the 'Service Pack' as every 21,000 or one year (whichever comes first) , then changing their mind to 21,000 or two years (whichever comes first) after we had bought it. I feel I was conned anyway but that's another story. So the phone software is still giving the alert in time for the original annual service but LR only do it every two years.

I suspect one day I will find the iPhone software is quietly updated without telling me and will unexpectedly show the two year interval.

I have a weirdo situation now in that the car says nothing but the remote app says its due for a service????
I have that too, I've just ignored it for the last couple of weeks, I think the one in the car will be more accurate and it's no where near due a service yet anyway.

As far as I am aware there is NO service reminder in the car, it certainly never came on when mine was due and as far as I know nobody has seen it on a DS.

I had one on my Evoque, would assume there would be one on the DS too.

RRS flashed up service due message in centre of speedo/rev counter when you pressed start button but it was so quick I missed it as I was usually fastening seat belt or setting off

I set reminder on phone calendar to be safe

Sons mini displays message on steering dials and you have to cancel to remove or it stays there - the Mitsubishi displays when next service due everytime you open door and get in vehicle and when you switch off - it stays there until you exit or start vehicle

Says same in my handbook but NEVER came on even though service was due.

A lot of cars also have where you can check next service in the menu but DS doesn't as far as I can see have this.

I've seen that I think in the same menu that you check the Ad-Blue

I took mine in last week to get the service indicator reset (it came on with the car on 7k miles) and the dealer did an oil change, free of charge even though I don't have the service pack. That's good service but it does give me a lingering feeling that LR aren't 100% sure of the super-long service intervals.

Mine has just been in to the dealer for this same reason. I do have service pack so no question of charge but they also advised it needed an oil change and replaced the oil filter. They also completed a couple of updates while I was there. They said they are still getting to grips with the 2 year servicing and the cars want the oil change in between. This was only advised on the app no service request on the dash at all.

After over 6 months of trying, I finally got this issue fixed yesterday. Dealer had a recall on the car for Q624 and also Q627 (Service required message not appearing on the car) and when applied they automatically solved the problem of the service due message appearing on the app.
However, the dealer did say that the car required an oil change and after only 11,900 miles!
At least this work was all done under warranty.

Same here. Car in for something else, so got them to fix Q627 and Q624 while it was there. So this morning I get "Service due in 700 miles". According to the dealer this is because the service interval on some Ingenium engines was wrongly set to 1 year. The 700 miles seems to be code for "end of 12 months", since it hasn't changed in the last 45 miles! So it's another trip to the dealer to get the interval reset - apparently they may have to do an oil change as part of the process. Looks like your dealer was a bit more up to speed on this!
