Yep, changing half a bearing is never a good idea, which child thought that was ever going to be a fix!

That brown and blue is overheating , it stinks of a lubrication / ,bearing tolerance, issue. Or perhaps it's just not man enough for the speed or bearing load.

Good decision given the number of unwanted diesel engines there must be lying around.

make sure the vehicle is not suffering from a Turbocharger whine before completing this campaign :shock:

... once Balancer shaft whine and Turbocharger whine have been eliminated, this fault should be attributed to Driver whine and charged accordingly. :lol:

Pretty bad wording again though : campaign suspended , keep changing the shafts .

N128v4 This closes N128. The issue is still there just as much as it was before. Now being dealt with by LTB01263v2 January 2019.
Affects DS, Evoque, Velar, Discovery and Range Rover Sport.
