Does anyone know whether the exterior wing mirrors can be operated when required but the open or closed facility when locking can be turned off by the dealer.

I had mine turned off yesterday only to find it's either on or off .... The hand book it a little ambiguous on the subject .

If you hold both mirror select buttons down you can manually retract the mirrors and manually open them out again. If you have manually retracted them and then locked the car. They wont open out again when you unlock.

Unfortunately there seems to be a bug in the software. According to the manual it should work as described before, but it doesn't.
The dealer could not find the parameter to switch the auto-folding on/off so he deleted the folding option. Like your dealer said, all or nothing.
I mentioned this before but nobody seemed to bother. Using extended mirrors for towing I need to have the auto-function turned off, but I would like to operate them manually.
Would be nice of you to complain via CRC. The more customers complain the faster it will be solved.
Can't be that difficult. Other LandRover models do have the software module. No need to invent the wheel again. :)

Simon, to clarify if they disable the autofold you cannot turn them in or out from the inside using the two buttons at the same time.... It's as if the electrics to them are either on or off.... Also disabled the reversing tilt also doesn't work ... It's ridiculous!
