Does anyone know what WIP is?

Have just been told my car is in WIP and will now be delayed for a minimum of 2 months.

New factory Western India Patchums. hopefully the locals will be fully trained with laser welding by then , or not :twisted:

WIP - Work In Progress I am guessing.

Yes WIP as I undertand it is Work in Progress, but what I don't understand how a car can be in WIP for 4 months! Either every component of the car is being handcrafted or WIP must mean something else at Land Rover.

Ask the dealer who told you, would have thought they should know and should have told you rather that just saying WIP.
