So, did your DS actually make it to 21,000 miles without needing an interim service?

I had mine done today at Guy Salmon, Sheffield. £363. It hasn't actually done 21,000 miles, only 16,500 but it's now 2 years old.

Guy Salmon Stratford yesterday, £425. Vehicle 21 months old and 18500 miles. One oil change at 11800 miles.

As an aside, my Adblu counter has been stuck at 4038 miles since June. No warnings or faults, it's just not counting down, which as we know from elsewhere on this forum, is a sonic sensor fault. Whilst the part is covered under warranty, the draining of the Adblu tank is chargeable labour at £156/unit, oh, and they can't fit it in until mid-October either!

Dealership were politely told to Foxtrot Oscar, and LR Assist were summoned to attend today and deal with. If they can't do it on the driveway, then it will be recovered back to GS, where they have to prioritise it and turn it round within 72 hours, or face cross-charging by JLR. That'll learn 'em........

They have to diagnose within that window, not necessarily fix or that’s what LRCS told me.

Eh ?
If changing the sensor under warranty requires draining the tank it’s part of the same job and should be under warranty.
Tell him up you want it changed without draining the tank , let him go figure his stupidity.
