Nice report -9.

I blame the cravat. Presumably his friends in Chelsea have told him that they no longer want it.

They'll be bemoaning the lack of a proper parcel shelf next for the panama hats... :)

I have a green one (for now!)

Based on that article, I might well revise the price up 😜

And yes Chippy, I concur.

Love my green Jag 😍😍

How can they drop such an iconic colour?

I know on the USA Jag forum there was uoroar when they dropped BRG , lots of unhappy folks .

That doesn’t interest JLR in the slightest.

Yes Chippy, listening to customers has never been a strong point.

BRG still available on the Range Rover, and you can have it in a much nicer looking satin finish...

I think it's very much a heritage colour green, and that heritage can look a bit tweedy and stuffy at times. Who knows, it may come back into fashion, but personally I don't miss it and think modern JLRs look better without it.

Real BRG is a solid colour, not the representation that Aintree is (was). Perhaps JLR are missing a trick that other manufacturers haven't. What you do is offer the unfashionable colour free, then you charge for everything else. Yes, JLR, you are missing a trick offering black and white free, when customers will pay a premium for them.
BTW Ihave owned but two Land Rovers and one Jaguar, all of them green...

Aintree replaced Galway, which was ok, but by far and away the best green that they had in the palette in the last 10 years was Kosrae. Perfect for when the sun caught it.

As our cravat states, we need to move away from traditional (read ALL) markets (this includes nostalgia).

I would love to know what forced the reintroduction of Loire Blue on the MY19 configurator.... And more importantly, whose arse got kicked for dropping it in the first place!
