The SIM will only calculate an expected dilution based on failed v completed regens. It doesn't measure oil quality, it's purely based on an algorithm. The variables are immense - I have seen analysed oil results at 3% dilution, right up as high as 21% when the car is calling for an oil service at the 10% trigger.
If you or a 3rd party are changing the oil yourselves, you will not be able to reset the oil counter. Therefore, best policy would be to analyse the oil with a view to change it every 4-6 months, and at least once a week give the vehicle a steady run for >40 minutes at a continuous speed of approx 60mph. That *should* buy you some time and mileage.
