General Grabber AT3

Post by CumbrianCanary » Wed Nov 30, 2016 12:26 pm

I have used General Grabber AT tyres on previous Landrovers have been impressed. I see they have now launched the AT3 which looks great, but they don't do a size to fit my 20" wheels (which I regret getting if I am honest!)

So I was wondering what size the 18" and 19" wheels are that go on the DS to see if they do a AT3 that fits them. I will then try and hunt some wheels down.

Thanks,
CC

I am also interested in the new AT3 tyres... Also very happy with the AT2 on my previous Disco 2, td5.

Picked up my Disco Sport last week and it was on Pirelli Scorpion Verde (235/60 R18), virtually a summer tyre and mainly useful as an All Season if you live in the Mediterranean area, I guess. As I need to go up north sometimes I will need something better.

Regarding the size, I have found AT3s in this size. Just google around a bit...

How about £600 + delivery :)

They have done 11 miles from the dealers to the new tyre fitters. As new.

No but there is a guy on this forum Big Dave viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3328 who everybody seems to rave about. Not sure where you are but suspect up north maybe ;) I'm in Surrey if you want to ask him for a price.

Thats why i specified 19" on my HSE a i knew i was going to put general grabbers on, mine are the standard size for the 19" wheels but mine are the older AT2s.

Once you have sorted some wheels out or even try for a swap with someone for 18s or 19s , or do your research first then you know what tyres you can get for wheel size.

Plenty of place online to buy tyres which do a good deal
HSE manual in waitomo grey with a black roof, spare wheel, heated steering wheel, privacy glass, style 902 alloys, dealer fit towbar, general grabbers, red badges and caliper, dog cage. seat covers

Ordered 27th august 2015, collection date 25/11/15

FYI I just ordered my Grabber AT3s... Will try to post a photo soon, and get back with a bit of a "feel report" a while later. My biggest worry is that they will look a bit to aggressive on the somewhat mild appearance of the Disco Sport.
