Change indicator settings

Post by ADB78 » Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:25 pm

Sorry in advance if its a easy fix but is there a way to increase the short indicator flashes from 3 flashes to more.

The hyundai i had operated for 5 indications which was just the right amount. the DS with 3 is just a little too fast in some conditions.

The short answer is no.

If you know someone that can change and edit CCF parameters, then I daresay that it potentially could be done. But then, unless you know what you are doing with some of that stuff, you risk bricking various modules within the vehicle. And beleive me, under high-level investigation, JLR will know exactly what you have attempted to change, thus voiding your warranty.

Your car, your risk I guess....

3 is the standard on most cars. maybe the Koreans need more time to react :?:

As the 3 flashes are purely there for convenience for quick motorway/dual carriageway lane changes, I don't see your problem, as you can just push slightly harder to fully engage the indicators if you want them on longer. Then just disengage or let them self cancel when you straighten the steering wheel.
