3.0 engines are still snapping cranks, as they did in the D4/RRS

All the longitudinal models are still under warranty, but the stories from our local dealer, they are replacing 5-6 Ingenium engines across all models, every week
3.0 diesels in D4/RRS that snap cranks aren’t Ingenium.

The oil dilution issue isn’t Ingenium related, it’s the DPF (SCRF) location in transverse (Ingenium) installations to meet Euro6 emissions.

I'm aware, the 3.0 engine is the PSA Lion engine

And its not just oil dilution that scared me away from the Ingenium 👌

Gosh, how intriguing - you must know lots of secret stuff.

Why bring up snapping cranks then?

I’ve not heard of the 3.0L ingenium suffering from snapped cranks. All I know of were on the 3.0D L320 RRS and Disco 4 models
Now: Lexus RX 450h F Sport + Premier Pack
GONE Jan 2018:- HSE Lux Firenze Red (MY17), Ivory Interior, Adaptive Dynamics, Adaptive Headlights, Surround Cameras,

In that case then, I've misunderstood completely 😳

Not heard of any major 3.0 Ingenium issues 👌
