Thinking of buying a discovery . .

Post by Daddibby » Sat Oct 12, 2019 8:20 pm

Hi all obviously new to this . My wife and I are considering buying a discovery HSE 2ltr in green with panoramic roof looks nice . Reading the comments my thoughts are am I doing the right thing.
I have had a few cars but we do tow a large twin axle with an outlander at the moment and feel the discovery would be good at this .
You always read horror stories like my friend who brought an xc90 hybrid and had nothing but trouble ending with Volvo taking it back and giving him a replacement.
Any feedback would be appreciated

As has been said before, look for a vehicle that has done a reasonable, not low, mileage. Try to get a good warranty, and ask for evidence that it has had interim oil changes. You don't give us the age or mileage of your intended car, or whether you would be buying from a LR dealer, which makes it difficult to comment further.
