Post by PedroT » Sat Oct 12, 2019 9:20 am

What info and what action am I meant to take from the small lane departure icon on the dashboard? Yes, I have had car for 4 years and not worried about it. :)

The icon changes colour to tell you whether it's registering the lane marking either side, red if you are wandering out of the lane without using your indicators and it will put a vibration through your steering wheel, like going over rumble strips. It has 3 intensity settings depending on your preference, and it can also be switched off. Useful at times, and annoying sometimes, particularly narrow roads where you have no choice but to continually keep going across the centre line.
