About carplay

Hi,
I am new to the forum and I am trying to find out whether my 18 hse models can be upgraded to Apple CarPlay.
If your DS have 12'screen without physical buttons, close the thread and call the JRL dealer to upgrate your car infotainmnent system firmware.

I guess my DS audio sysytem was HARMAN NLI-HU （BLE005）.

It means I cant just SOTA or FOTA to add the carplay funtion without hardware supprot.
JRL dealer suggest me cost at lease ￡6000 to upgrate the whole car infotainmnent system include the MERIDIAN HIFI.

But I find another way . On the premise of not modify the original line,added a MULTIMEDIA VIDEO INTERF is the economical choice.

It will cost me ￡400

this is something I also want to do when the price is right.

Do you have physical buttons around the touchscreen?

yes，but price not good.
Its need to detach the central panel no easy to install.
So I give up .
