Sound quality of SatNav on Landmark Edition

Post by decho » Tue Oct 08, 2019 6:59 am

The sound quality on my SatNav is very poor...it sounds as though someone with a heavy cold is speaking through their nose!
I asked the local dealer to check it but they said it’s normal...I can’t believe that in a 40k supposed premium brand car that this is ‘normal’? Traffic reports are the same....terrible quality! Could some Landmark owners confirm this for me please?

The quality of sound in the SatNav on the new Evoque I had as a courtesy car was perfect(as I would expect it to be)....didn’t like the car though, much rather have my DS even with ALL the niggles.
Beautiful 2018 Landmark in Corris Grey....with ugly LR tow bar!

I don't have a Landmark edition, but I do notice that traffic announcements have a very tinny quality to them compared to normal radio or other sources. You can easily hear this when it comes through on the same station. It's as if any sound equalisation is completely bypassed just for that, which I've never heard on other systems.
