Saw one of the new Defender prototypes at the weekend...


Was quite battered inside, nothing ripped or hanging off though. Looks good in the flesh.

Hope they’ve got a big petrol engined 90 , that would do me fine.
But I guess I’ll have to wait a couple of years to see niggles ironed out.

Saw one in the wild today, coming out of a pub car park in Wolvey. Saw it from the side initially whilst driving past & wondered WTH it was - looked American initially, then it turned. A surprisingly sizeable beast it was too! What I'd call "Land Rover green" with a prototype lettering on the front (bumper I think, all this was inside 10 seconds or so whilst driving past)

Had a good look at this one on our trade stand
It’s big! But looks and feels more substantial than my ds
Interesting the common parts you can find sunglasses holder grab handles and a few other bits oh and the engine a 2l diesel

Im sure it’s just what the farmers and forestry folk are looking for. Look at all those lovely plastic bits or are they aluminum?

As many folk expected more for the posers of this world,
MB GLC 250d.
Gone: 2 x DS TD4. Both rejected - B pillar ticking.
Evoque TD4. Increasing problems.
