Not a Discovery Sport but an Evoque spotted in Ukraine last week with an interesting number plate!

Perhaps similar to the Austrian system where you can have a personal number plate.

An example could be W - Mike27. The number is linked to the "normal" number whereby "W" indicated Wien or Vienna.
MB GLC 250d.
Gone: 2 x DS TD4. Both rejected - B pillar ticking.
Evoque TD4. Increasing problems.

Never seen the appeal of personal plates.
You always get the twats who mess with the spacing

Those that have them appear to have an inferiority complex. Or more money than sense. Or both!

There is a particular young man at GDEC in his early twenties that has taken full advantage of the ECO scheme, and organised himself an L551.

He has put his own personal plate on it, complete with various other chav decals, and spends his lunch hour in it vaping in the local Tesco car park. It smacks of "look at meeeeeeeee" syndrome, nothing more, nothing less. I should imagine that he is constantly taking photographs to upload to his various social media platforms to boot.

What a sad state of affairs?

My dad had a 'personalised' number plate on his hippo. He lived close to the local police station and drank in the pub next door to that so knew all the local bobbies (rural area).
In there one evening and one of the police officers asked him "What were you doing in xxxx today then?" - xxxx was a location around 100 miles away from his normal haunts. Not so good having an easily recognisable plate!

I remember reading that the police were going to clamp down on mis-spaced lettering and strategically placed black/yellow screw covers on number plates. I still seem to see just as many.

The only one I've seen that kind of made sence was years ago on a transit van that was a green Chanel perfume van. The number plate was NO 5
