The utter disdain JLR treat their customers with is there for all to see.
To be fair , JLR have probably called many of their customers idiots behind our backs , you just happen to have caught them out .
Take them to the cleaners !

Agree, however if they are quoting that exact letter as the one issued, i don't think it would look good to see that the letter was a recreation from the original. Who knows what changes could have been made. As i understand it that is why PDF is used.Dashnine wrote: ↑Sat Jun 09, 2018 9:45 amThat's only the PDF that was created on 8th, not necessarily the Word document it was created from. I don't think you can put too much weight on that. The missing letter could have been printed and posted, scanned previously or generated from Word previously, etc.
Oh dear , please watch out for theCasper-S3 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 09, 2018 9:40 amIt goes even deeper than simply being called an idiot. Yesterday i received an email citing a letter of demand created by their lawyers dated 10/05/2018, a letter me nor my solicitor had seen before. The email was instruction that because i had not responded to the LOD there loan car would be collected that day, and my broken car would have towed to my premise.
The letter was dated 10/05/2018
the final date for response was COB 09/05/2018??? (-1 days’ notice)
and when we dug into the PDF, we could see it was created 10min before they sent the email to me yesterday and was a template used from another case.
This company is verging on criminal actions, and I’m not going to let them get away with it.
