Just a 150 two-litre. On the long test drive I thought the 150 was not much different to my present Freelander. Last week I drove the 180.
Both newer engines are much quieter than the older oil burner.
Yes - I enjoyed my Freelander 2 so much, I kept it! It's my daily hack and remains faultless.
The DS is a weekend/long journey vehicle, for all the reasons that you will read about. It is, to its credit, far more refined and comfortable as a long-distance cruiser over the Freelander, but not as capable in the fields. (If that's your thing)
I also had a FL2 from new, had it for 10 years and 194k miles. Eventually, it was telling me it was time to move on (wheel bearings and funny noises not diagnosed). So went for a DS. Miss the FL2.
Came from a Freeland, before that had all the Discoveries, glad I got the MY 15 with the 2.2 Freelander engine, just done 40K but it's the first LR that I have taken out an extended warranty
