Did he overstep the threshold of common decency? If so, his line is his manager should have been told to bollock him and that would have been an end to it.
Well yeah, I think he did, suicide vests are just not funny.

Should think himself lucky he didn’t get himself shot by some trigger happy cop...

He was on a production line, at his workplace in the Midlands. Not in America. And nor was there any of Warwicshire's finest patrolling the line with cocked MP5's looking for employees daring to have a laugh amongst themselves.

Hardly a hanging offence really, is it?

I was only asking.

And I do agree it's nothing more than a "strong words of advice" offence.

Outside Land Rover, getting in the car, dropping the kids off, on the back seat at Sainsbury’s, who knows where it’s been and who’d see it.

Granted, but it appears to be a joke with fellow work mates on the factory floor, not the local supermarket or school. To my knowledge, no one was alarmed or upset, but it was in bad taste given the photo found its way onto the Internet.

We’ve probably all done things we shouldn’t at work, be it misplaced humour, a comment or something else. Sometimes your left thinking, that person should have known better, the behaviour was reckless or alternately, what agenda did the person reporting the matter have?

It’s not always a case of being upset at someone’s behaviour, quite often it’s pure mischief making, people getting a kick out of being sanctimonious or landing someone in it.

If he wore it outside I agree , but it was with all his mates, who by the article knew about it. I don’t think anyone is stupid enough to play a joke outside .
