Looks really impressive, you can see why they have them as world heritage sites. It is an awful lot of money but probably not something you would do to often and what an experience. Would imagine they are fairly smallish boats for the trip, so a bit weather dependant.
Now sadly gone 2015 HSE Lux, Auto, 5+2, Kaikoura Stone/Santorini Black Pano Roof, Ebony Windsor 10 way seats, 20 inch 511 Wheels, Adaptive Xenon Headlamps, Privacy Glass, InControlTM, Service Pack, Williams ceramic coating

Yep, it’s a bucket list thing really. When I lived on Harris, no one did these trips or I’d have gone. There one or two that do now.

Done some slab work today. 900x600x50. I thought I must be getting old heaving these about by myself, lifting them off the trailer, I was feeling it, then I looked up the weight - 66kg or 10.5 stone.

Just two, but I put 50x 917x100 edging on three sides, levelled the slabs - taking them in/out half a dozen times each, blame OCD, then edging the last side. I make life difficult by doing this as it’s straight lift, but the result is worthwhile.

Bought Gap Insurance for the new DS from Car2Cover.

Had the fourth years cover on the old DS credited against a 3 year vehicle replacement policy on the new car, deferred for a year as my LV insurance will replace within first 12 months if needed. Would have cost £35 to cancel the policy so it seemed worthwhile to use credit again with the same company.

Decided to go with 'vehicle replacement' instead of 'back to invoice' as it was only a bit more expensive and there's a fair chunk of discount off the new DS which I wouldn't get off the facelifted DS if it was needed in a year or two.

Today I saved £217 on my Admiral buildings and contents insurance renewal by using a comparison site and getting a cheaper quote from the same company.

Renewal price - £627
Go-Compare Price £410

Admiral matched the price.

Just back from a good run down to Buckinghamshire, stopping off at Burnham Beeches at a countryside pub for a light lunch. Perfect run there and back, averaging 42mpg, previously unheard of. 170 miles off the service clock, and 300 miles off the Adblue clock, so a regen or two clearly took place at some point there/back or both.
