No, neither the HSE or Landmark has the climate seats as standard, it’s an £850 option.

As I remember, my Freelander seats heated up slightly quicker, but then switched off automatically after about 3 to 5 minutes,
Whereas on my HSE they remain on until manually turned off. At least in my wife"s (passenger) case. Personally I turn mine off as soon as I feel the warmth coming through, don"t like having a hot backside!.
Built # March 2016, 180 HSE AINTREE GREEN / ALMOND.
7 Seats, no spare, removable tow bar factory fit. 19" wheels.
Panoramic roof.
Location Hampshire , England.
Bought @ Hunters , Southampton. :D

As its freezing today I decided to take my new Landmark for a short run and try out the heated seats. It seemed to take a long time for them to warm up and even on full they were nothing like as hot as my Freelander seats use to be.
Anyone else notice this?
When I got in the DS this afternoon at work here in sunny Melbourne, Australia, it was 39C so the cooled seats came in handy on the drive home LOL

I had a hse as a courtesy vehicle, operated by a switch not the screen. Instant heat, unlike the dynamic which takes 10 minutes to get hot.

Must be heat pads in the poverty spec cars then, rather than politician mode, blowing hot air.... :)

Within a mile from starting out on a trip where the temperature dictates me turning the heated seat on, I can feel the warmth coming through. No complaint regarding heating time but not as toasty as the FL2.

Perhaps the Health and Safety Executive have stopped the seats getting too hot without a timed turn off in the DS.

There’s a reason it’s called HSE you know....

On SE Tech, heat within 20s, I imagine it will be the basic heated pad system, but after all when do you want a warmed seat:- Straight away is when!!
