Service Plans purchased from 1st August will cover 4 interim oil changes. These can be taken at any time throughout the service plan

The old 2.0 Ford petrol engine had 10,000 mike service intervals, the new Ingenium petrol has 16,000 mile \ 12 months intervals

@VDS
I don’t see why dealers can not offer you a oil and filter change price. The book labour time for it is 0.6 hours and then just add the filter, bung and oil. If the retailer has their menu pricing set up correctly they can quote you direct from that!
Q8, where did the info on the 4 interim oil changes come from? I was discussing the purchase of the £625 service plan with my JLR dealer and he said it still only includes the 21k and 42k services. I would really like to know who is going to pay for the interim oil change when my car needs one in 8,000 miles. I have less than 2 weeks until the 90 days is up.

I hadn't been speaking to the right person before (sales rep instead of switched-on service agent). I've been and asked again and am now convinced it is for real, 4 oil changes + 2 year and 4 year standard services for £625 as originally posted by Q8 and in line with other manufacturers. Will post the contract when I've signed up. :D

I am thinking of buying a car in England and exporting at some time to NL. Could I please ask any owners of the petrol DS how often in practice a service is required. Thank you.

Servicing on the petrol is as per the schedule. No early services needed like the diesel.
