Positive Ownership Experiences

Post by GJB73 » Sun May 07, 2017 4:10 am

Hi All, I'm relatively new to the forum and like most forums I'm signed up with, you mostly only read the negatives but very rarely the positives.
So, let's keep this thread positive and share your enjoyable DS experiences and adventures.

We took delivery of our DS on the 1st of March and have just ticked over 2k miles with no issues, Its mostly used at the weekends as I work from home. The DS wasn't even on my radar as I was looking at buying a used Mercedes C63, which is a very different animal.
But for once my head took over my heart and we bought our first Land Rover, which until collection day, I was still unsure if I had made the right decision.
Now after two months ownership I'm delighted in our decision and can't think of another car which does almost everything you would ever need.
As yet it's been all positive regarding the supplying dealer, which is Peter Vardy Aberdeen, who have been excellent throughout, hopefully that good experience will continue if any problems may occur.

I hope with this post, I can encourage more lurkers who read the forum but haven't had problems share some positive DS experiences and give a more balanced view.
Regards
Gavin

Hi Gavin,

It's great to hear from you and especially in view of positive experience and comments.

There are no doubt far more satisfied DS owners than there are dissatisfied but as with all forums the satisfied ones generally don't even think to find a platform like this to air their complaints and to find solutions to their problems.

Continue to enjoy the DS as much I do.

Thanks, it's been great so far in the short time I've had it and I'm probably still in the honeymoon period but it's surpassed my expectations. I've read your comments regards your experience and understand your disappointment and frustration with is a shame.

Thanks for the post Gavin.

My DS is planned for June build and delivery to dealer in July so I am looking forward to taking delivery of my first Land Rover too! Good to hear you are pleased with the car and have had no problems to date.

My dealer experience has been very good so far!

Hi Gavin, glad you are enjoying your new DS. We got ours on Friday and so far we are very happy with it. It's a car we had never considered previously and it's not very popular in Australia, but since getting it we have been thrilled with what it has to offer. Hopefully we will continue to have a positive experience :)

It's good to see (almost) only very positive comments on this thread. It's enough to brighten up anyone's day :D
