2022 Specification changes

Oh dear...specification change time.

Personally not liking the new range. There's a new base model with few engine options, then forced to R Dynamic or the new "Editions".

360 cameras are no longer standard.

20" wheels on everything except the base model.

Hmm back to square one on which car

At least you still get a rear camera as standard and electric door mirrors! But the changes has meant that the number of engine/ trim level combos has been simplified from 28 to 17.

Biggest change is that 7 seats is not standard.

But no front fogs or head light wash unless you pay extra

That was extra before well on the versions I was looking at.

Seems to be a gap in the range just above the base model.. But probably LRs continued move upmarket and the base model is there to give a low headline price.

Why 20" wheels on everything except the poverty spec? Yes you can downgrade to other wheels but you don't get any money back.

Production line streamlining.

I've had my order for a R-Dynamic S plus updated to an "Urban Edition". I've lost the 360 camera, but gained the ClearSight Mirror and added on the memory driver seat and rear USB ports for the same price.

Shame to lose out on the 360 camera..I'd have added that back in.

Noticed there is no massage seat option now either. I put them on my order in April but wondered if they were pulled due to them being rubbish.

Anyone got any experience of them on theirs? Not too late for me to cancel them.

Unfortunately it took me over the £40k mark and therefore would cost me an extra £350 a year. Didn't think I'd really use it much.

Can't have a D200 or P250 without a glass roof. Looks like I won't by having one.
