I did say... not to be used for too long!

Having had 2x Freelander2 and now in my second DS (240,000 miles in total and rising) I’ve not had any after effects of very occasional use

FL2 sand mode, 2000rpm & foot on brake. Plant accelerator on floor and simultaneously release brake as the lights change to green. Every day sometimes several times a day for 180,000 miles. Original haldex and rear diff were fine. PTU failed due to splines corrosion.
Will try it on the DS later today
2018 DS HSE Lux.
2016 DS HSE auto, for 45k nice (grey!) car.
2014 Ewok for 6 months, really really rubbish.
2008 FL2 for 185k miles, should have kept her.
2006 FL1 for 110k miles, brilliant car.
2000 FL1 for 100k miles, fell apart but started the LR bug
