They are only assembled in either Halewood or Brazil.

China and India assemble them from CKD crates. Where in the world are you?

I'm curious as to why your retailer is telling you that the vehicle is "at the port". Particularly given your location. Your vehicle will have left Halewood by rail, distributed out from Warwickshire. No "ports" necessary......ask them to qualify that statement!

I smell salesman BS in an effort to get rid of you.

Ask him, no, insist on them to email you a screen dump of the vehicle status as shown on VISTA2.

Sarah that was my thought too. The problem is whatever I do it’s a waiting game isn’t it? I was thinking to cancel my order and go get a stock car in petrol but even that isn’t going to be easy judging by many threads I see on this forum! Plus I had a charging port fitted so PHEV it is!

Update (Tuesday, 13th Oct): Finally got an answer from the LR franchise:

Yes, my car was built some weeks ago. No PHEVs are being delivered and all are being stored local to the factory.

The reason: As some have speculated, it's due to emission regulations. (I assume this means the testing is still on-going and that this is a prerequisite to registering a vehicle in the UK.)

How long will deliveries be delayed? The franchise has not been told.

Frustrated? YES.

... and if you try to build your own Disco Sport for Model Year 2021 you get:

PLEASE NOTE

Please be aware PHEV derivatives are not currently available to order. Please speak to your local Retailer.

Simon thanks for the update - like wow! Least you have some truth and I highly doubt I will get that from my lease broker. What is really bad now is that I would have cancelled my order and gone for petrol P200 but as have had my charging port fitted so that is now a bit pointless. My gut feel is that I don't think they will make this side of the year. The only good news (if we think they are being truthful) is that they are built and I getting some cash saved on my payments lol. All round farce isn't it!

Meanwhile over on Evoque forum WLTP is stated again .
If land River want to kill this supposed rumour they could officially do so , but they have chosen not to.

Perhaps BIK changes from 6% to 10% might affect some?

At least there's no fire risk. Unlike Ford and BMW.

This delay applied to all DS models right? Not only the PHEV? My dealer told me my replacement vehicle is ordered but no delivery date as well.
