As I previously posted, it does list the 1.5L P300 PHEV:

https://carfueldata.vehicle-certificati ... -fuel.aspx

Search for Land Rover and you will see it there.

The original question was if the delay is due to the lack of WLTP figures. It does not appear to be as there are official WLTP figures and they are used to provide the UK type approval for the Discovery Sport and Evoque PHEVs.

The technical specifications with the official WLTP figures are here (no estimate caveat):

Where is the 21MY, that’s what people are buying.
The PHEV first appeared as MY20 and as I understand it for Land Rover MY21 starts in October.
I always thought model year was after summer shut down , might be different in covid times.
I seem to remember September /March used to be the two change over Previously.

I take it from that statement that you are now liaising with the company. Could you please ask them if any of the DS PHEV's that "appeared" as 20MY were actually sold to end users?
No. What I mean by that is that the PHEV was first available to order as MY20 and October usually marks the start of MY21. The MY21 difference for the PHEV appears to be the change to Pivi Pro and changes to the standard kit on the different trim levels. There is no change to the drivetrain.

Discovery Sport Model Year
Oct 19 to March 20 = MY20
Apr 20 to Sept 20 = MY20.5
Oct 20 to March 21 = MY21 (projected)
Apr 21 to Sept 21 = MY21.5 (projected)

Thanks but the WLTP applies to the standard car, so any changes would surely need a new certificate ? It does not apply to the drivetrain.

A few more questions, then since it seems we are talking to no less than JLR marketing :)

The drivetrain described in the "out of date" brochure (tcm295-691753-1 created 20th April 2020) would be 20.5MY, correct?
You said "there is no change to the drivetrain" between 20MY/20.5MY and 21MY. So, given that we are now in 21MY ("October usually marks the start of MY21"), anything we might have read (rhymes with said) in the old brochure as regards drivetrain would still be applicable for MY21?
What does "projected" mean, is it just the end date of the production run?
Will there be any changes to the drivetrain when 21MY eventually gives way to 21.5MY?

Thank you for the information. The picture is almost complete.

Probably.
Probably.
Projected means, based on what happen this year so no idea if it will happen next year. I just noted the dates as I might buy a new car and don’t want to get get the old MY when a new one is about to arrive.
No idea but doubt it.

I haven’t phoned JLR but I believe SarahStreet works for JLR.

Another probably you might get if you wait for a MY21.5 Is a rise in VAT at the end of March (if press speculation is to be believed)
What would you expect to change with the Drivetrain that is not even in production yet ?

Update on my ordered p300e: Sadly nothing of significance to report. As suggested I contacted the LR order line and spoke to a delightful lady. She was surprised about the delays and told me she'd get back to me once she'd spoken to both my franchise and LR HQ. I received a 'No news' email from her with a promise of further information soon. Even given my subsequent requests for updates, she's gone quiet on me. It's a similar tale with the franchise. They do eventually respond to emails, but effectively just 'No news'.
So I'm told my car was build (week beginning 21st Sept), but the delivery date just keeps on going back. Today is Friday and this is the day of the week when delivery estimates are re-set. I'm expecting to hear (again) that the delivery date has gone back another week. It looks more & more like there is an issue - someone suggested a part missing or a due software update - and in the meantime, cars sit in a compound waiting. And it is certainly odd that (to my knowledge) there are no proper reviews available for the car or demo cars out with franchise garages.
I'm getting pretty fed up here.
Land Rover owner since a Defender 90 in the 1980s. Series of Discoverys, until downsizing to Discovery Sport in 2015. Disco Sport R-Dynamic S p300e (PHEV) arrived late Oct 2020. Solid Fuji white with very few extras (e.g. powered tailgate).

That’s not good, there’s nothing worse than people not being honest . The amount of money you are paying you deserve a better service and at least an honest one.
