145 mph in a DS? Put me down for one now...seatsl wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:02 pmsandbox wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 2:20 pmThe only person spreading fake news is you! As I have repeatedly pointed out, all the info is on the web site. There is no legal requirement to have a PDF brochure!
Here is the tech spec brochure with dimensions and official WLTP figures:
https://www.landrover.co.uk/Images/Land ... 798845.pdf
The EV range for the RAV4 is also further because of the 20% bigger battery.
Fact checked!
Seems like standards at the University of Fact Checking are not what they were. If I've followed this correctly, JLR has admitted to the press that the figures it provided previously are wrong - so why is this misleading data still on its website? As of time of posting, it hadn't been removed.

One interesting bit in that attachment lists a DS SE PHEV. Can't seem to build one of those online..you have to choose R-Dynamic.
This also confirms no change to BIK banding for the DS PHEV..not that it affects me anyway.

The Jaguar Land Rover Press Release dated 22nd April 2020 was updated 13th October 2020 at 16:51.
Official JLR Document - EVOQUE AND DISCOVERY SPORT NOW AVAILABLE AS PLUG-IN HYBRIDS WITH ALL-ELECTRIC RANGE OF UP TO 34 MILES
It looks as though they only had time to complete the test and get the results verified in a single configuration. Fair enough. So why are they allowed to include the data for the tests that were not certified. This is in the footnote: They appear to have issued a document that contradicts itself:
"Up to 141 mpg" is not the same as "143-175 mpg"
"From 44 g/km" is not "36-44 g/km"
"Up to 34 miles" is not "34-38 miles"
One set of figures must be wrong. Why do they keep doing this?

As a potential PHEV owner this doesn't upset me in the slightest. Not sure why it upsets those that don't want a PHEV???

Re: Delays in deliveries - October 2020
I THINK the issue is the changes from the specification/performance figures issued in spring. If I say to you I'll give you £10 and then a bit later I correct myself and say I'll only give you £8; you'll be disappointed. It's human nature. You'll have lost sight of the fact I'm giving you £8!pcheaven wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 7:09 pmSame hereWensleydale wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 7:03 pmAs a potential PHEV owner this doesn't upset me in the slightest. I think the updated specification/performance figures are still good - they're just less than originally stated.
So I'm still in - I'm hoping to get my (already built) p300e next week. Yes, slightly disappointed - but I'll get over it. Still excited about my new car.

Quote “ Work is ongoing, as the business emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic, to deliver the extended electric range and lower CO2 figures“ What’s that suppose to mean? Within six months the battery will be upgraded to 18kw to give the extended range and lower co2 figures?
