I successfully used Carwow to get the OTR price down at my local dealership. Very useful to play dealerships off against each other.

Beadles did say that their Southend dealership was a new site - so perhaps they want to build up their sales

Car wow are a great way to get a deal - try coast to coast as well. As for Beadles (Sidcup) they are my local dealer however did not supply our DS as they were not competitive at the time. However we did deal with just about one of the best sales people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with - contact Damien and I'm sure that he will now match any deal out there today. As for their service department, ours is in for a few items and service at the moment and appear to be first class.

Yes used Carwow and got several good quotes. Left it a while as the first use was just dipping my toe in then received even better quotes some time later. Ended up using Marshalls of Bedford, 100 miles from me. They offered to deliver the car for free though we went to pick it up. They also gave me £2k more for my FL2 than anyone else was offering.

In the end got the price difference I was aiming for that triggered buying the new car.

As has already been said, they do not spam you either and, yes, got the Amazon voucher.

Lastly, they pass the acid test which is - I would always use them again.

I've used CarWow for my wife's Merc C Class about 2 years ago, but not for my DS.

We ended up travelling from Somerset to Grimsby for the car, but the deal was by far the best at the time, especially given we got around 13% off when our local Merc dealer in Taunton wouldn't even discuss any discount at all...

The thing to remember with Carwow is that you are essentially tapping into a dealer's fleet sales as a private buyer, so the discounts are generally better, but the 'sweeteners' are pretty much non-existent (although this is not universally true). In other words, you might get a good discount off the list price, but don't expect free umbrellas, car mats or paint treatments, etc.

If anybody is interested, I Just had a Carwow quote come through from Beadles of Sidcup offering a 9.4% saving on a DS Auto HSE bringing the price down to £37251 if you use LRFS.

Thanks
I was about to say they didn't quote - but I've just got a new quote with a 9.4% saving from them as well -matching Beadles of Southend.
Took 3 days to quote for some reason - but Sidcup is closer .

Best price so far is from LR Truro - 9.9% saving with LRFS.
Back to local dealers tomorrow - but will order by Monday

Carwow sent the one of the best deal's I could find (from Beadles) for a DS Auto HSE but after finding a better deal at Shukers at Ludlow I managed to get a local dealer to match them so went for that instead :)

I used Carwow while trying to locate a stock specific Disco Sport (HSE Lux Auto in black) when my local dealer told me none where available until after March. I wanted one before the tax hikes. Anyhow they put me in touch with Stratstones Stoke who supplied my vehicle. I didn’t get any specific price reduction through Carwow because of my Privilege discount (20%), but I received a £20 amazon voucher from them for using the service, which basically was one email.

Thanks all

Local dealer (Guy Salmon) matched the Beadles offer & gave me a fair price for my trade-in (which they have actually seen & driven) , so I ordered with them yesterday.
No build date yet - told it "might be" June/early July.

Although I didn't order through a carwow dealer this time- I would use carwow again.

Now to consider if the Autoglym treatment they are pushing is worth it - or get an alternative.
