Hello all...

Post by 66DS » Thu Feb 13, 2020 7:35 pm

Hey everyone.
New to the forum.
Just purchased a 2017 66 DS SE Tec in Santorini Black with fixed pan roof, rear window tints (factory) and removable tow bar. FLRSH and 56k on the clock with one previous owner.
3 weeks in and I absolutely love it with the recent weather giving me change to have a play in the soft mud.
Previously had a FL2 a few years back. Loved it. DS is in a different league and so happy to be back in a LR again.
Any advice on anything greatly appreciated. Only niggle I’ve noticed is the drivers door pull on the inside seems slightly loose, had a look on here and should just be screws under the chrome trim so will possibly have a play this weekend.
Hopefully won’t need to much help or advice but look forward to chatting to people in the future 😁

Welcome. Whereabouts in the UK are you to have caught such a glorious sunrise/sunset?

Nice to see the obligatory NT Sticker in the correct place on the windscreen as well 👍🏻 even if it is last years!

Plenty of useful information on this site, and members are quite forthcoming.

Enjoy the vehicle.

Hi,
We are in north west Norfolk just outside Kings Lynn. It was a sunset but it has had a slight tweak to the photo to enhance the effect.
Yes I need to put this years in the screen. It’s on my to do list!!
ThNk you for the welcome 👍

Welcome! Plastic trim around door pull comes off easily with a small screwdriver with cloth over it (or even better trim removal tool) and firm pressure, then just tighten the door pull bolts with a torx screwdriver / socket.

Thank you I’ll do that the weekend. Glad you mentioned the cloth. Forgot about that!!
