Non LR rubber mats

Post by Michpip » Sun Mar 12, 2017 7:23 pm

Hello DS owner,

Has any of you had experience on the non LR rubber mats from eBay please?

The item number: 232026266507

The reason I'm asking is that there seem to be more rubber coverage with this type than the genuine LR ones?

Your thought is appreciate it.

Thanks

Ok, here is the link to the rubber mats that I was on about.

Anyone had experience with them, do they fit ok in the DS?

Thanks in advance.

They do appear to cover a lot more floor than the standard ones.

This is the cheapest place I've found for these type of rubber mats.

https://www.lrdirect.com/DA4827-supplie ... TPART.html

I've ordered a set and hope to receive it by the end of the week, will let you know how they fit compare to the LR ones.

I have the Travall set from Amazon (£35) but the drivers mat is well shorter than I'd like, almost the size of one of the rear mats. Front Passenger one goes much further up & is more like what I'd expect.

I know Travall and yes the driver mat is very short, same with the carpet one LR supplied with the car.
Hence the one I found seem to cover more area for driver side including the side foot rest.
Also the 2nd row mats cover the hump as well, in one long piece.
