Central console removal

Post by Howlett4071 » Mon Apr 05, 2021 7:52 pm

Hi
I hope someone can help. The trim that runs between the glove box and the central console is been scratched.
But I can’t find how to remove it. Please see photo.

Any help would be great thank you.

Hi there
Page 6 shows this parts removal step.
You may have to remove some of the preceding trim to get to it.

I don't know why you want to remove the parts but it will be long trip rather than you imagine (If you are not pro tech).
I replaced the center control panel last week and it was on the way step to reach to the center control unit.
You need to remove almost upper surface parts of the center lower console to be ready to remove the silver bars.
Additionally you need to remover almost front interior parts to reach to the 4 screws.
Please read the .pdf file in the former comment.
I attached a picture of my work last week and you need to do almost the same steps.
