iPod Connectivity

Can you connect an iPod Classic without any issues?

Not sure if the system supports the Classic or not.

Not too sure about the Classic, but my iPod Nano (circa 2004) works fine and with no errors or issues, so I don't see why it wouldn't.

Yes, connected my IPod Classic once without any issues then discover the best way to play my music was to copy the iPod contents onto a USB and leave the USB permanently connected.

Was just intrigued. I use 2 pen drives on my current car as it doesn't support the Classic.

Speaking of pen drives, how quick is full access to content after vehicle start up?

I've used a iPod Classic 120 Gb, almost full of music, for 2 years now, with no major problems.
Once in a while (once per month or so) it loses track of the current playlist and goes back to the first music in alphabetical order (of the 18000).
Rarely (once every 3 months or so) it hangs and I have to reset the iPod.
I'm not sure whose fault it is, the DS or the iPod.
The interface is not brilliant but it is acceptable.
