Suspect ingenium 2016 timing chain gone

Post by Cracle » Sun May 02, 2021 6:45 pm

Not my favourite experience. Engine sounded a bit clacky on Friday. Drove it Saturday and it cut out and wouldn’t restart. Engine light on. Sounded worryingly like no compression when I tried to restart.

Couple of questions. How much am I looking at specialist vs main dealer if anyone has experience.

Anyone know a specialist in Murcia, Spain as that’s where I’m currently stuck🤦‍♂️

Don’t for a moment think I’m not kicking myself for driving it after it sounded noisy. I’ve searched for a specialist around here but to no avail. I don’t want to pay for someone else to learn on it and all the new tools I’m sure he’ll need which is why I asked about a dealer.

Thanks for reading. Hope someone can help.

I would suggest that you firstly speak to the Land Rover concession in Murcia
