I just picked up a half height Dog Guard second hand, but didn’t do my research and don’t want to permanently fix it in due to needing the +2 seats often.
Just looking to return what I paid for it which was £150.
Thanks for looking

Hi,
Have you got a picture or a link please ? Just wondering how easy fitting it is.
Thanks

Hi Daz,
The whole guard can be seen in the first picture, in the second picture you can see the fixing points.
The lower fixing is bolted on to the luggage hooks, and the bracket allows the luggage hooks to be in place at the same time. The upper fixing needs to be attached to the side of the car, which would require drilling 2 holes in the plastic in line with 2 fixings already behind. The manual to do this can be found online.

I fitted one of these to my DS, I only use the bottom fixings as it fits in nice and snug with no rattles

to much bother drilling in to the side panels.

Thanks Robster,
The pain being needing the 2 extra seats for me

if I didn’t use them this would be a no brainier and looks a million times better than the temporary guard I will need to use.

Yes no good if you use the extra seats a lot, we only use ours occasionally so pretty easy to remove and put back in, another reason for only using the bottom fixings.
