Remote warm up ?

Post by Jessdale » Mon Apr 16, 2018 8:48 am

Is the remote warm up feature a standard thing or is that yet another thing that has to be purchased as a extra?

It also seems to let you set an internal temperature to get the cabin to.

But, I can't seem to see if I can turn on the front and rear window heaters ? Is that automatic if I turn the climate on ?

You can alter the feature "Switch on front and rear window heaters at lower temperatures automatically" somewhere in the settings.

The stupidity of the system is that you cannot remotely turn on the heated seats/steering wheel as well in low temperatures. This is typical of the ill-thought out approach to technology - given how much they spent researching what should have been a sensible approach to low temperature settings, it is stupidity at its finest to have overlooked the rest of the package. Like the vehicle, it COULD be so much better than the end product.
