Same as SteveRich

When I pick up my daughter at the station usually wait 10 to 15 mins then off we go and its -35c
`getting a complex it doesn't like the station car park :) it now makes sense now, sensor must be effected by Engine temperature, needs resiting or better spec sensor then

The fault is intermittent and seems more likely to occur when I've made a journey, parked up and then returned to the vehicle while its still warm. When it faults (readings anywhere up to -40degrees) it does try to recover but typically the temperature gauge reading remains 10 degrees lower than the actual air temperature for the remainder of that journey. This does effect the cabin temperature and the car forces warm air back into the cabin to compensate for supposedly cold conditions

This is what my helpful dealer shared; mine is booked in mid November for this.
So will let folks know how it goes.

Unless anyone else has done before that and can share experiences please?

This update contains a software update for the Automatic Temperature Control Module (ATCM)
(referred to as Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Control module (HVAC) on SDD). This is to
resolve a concern relating to the ambient temperature display being incorrect after the vehicle has
been started.

This is taken from the SDD patch file release note that was released yesterday. So I’d be surprised if any one has had the update done yet. Also awaiting the release of the technical bulletin

Is this the update that LR originally said would be released in July of this year or something new?

The word from my dealer -> LR Aus -> LR UK is that the update is not yet official because a few have had issues when flashing it. They also don't know if it even fixes the OAT issue...

Interesting reading....

This is also an issue on mine. The latest in a long list. Oh that and the boot locking me out. And the no opening all by itself... 😑😐😑😐🙄
