Just discovered this German test which covers the DS in every detail during a 47min video! Most of the stuff they cover is actually interesting and certainly "grundlich". Can you provide us a link to your favourite test? (video or article)

Great video, I've not yet seen/touched a DS, this highlights some of the detail I've been wondering about.

Overall very positive, remarks:
- Lane departure buzz through steering wheel rather weak
- Interior a bit conservative, lacking in luxury feel. They specifically mentioned the check plastics around the gear selector and thought top of dash could be improved
- very impressed that even though shorter than X3 and Q5 smart packaging allowed for 7 seats
- positive regarding 9 speed automatic which was actually signalled out as hesitant in many other tests
- (diesel) engine could do with more top-end power yet they welcomed the torque
- amazing real offroad ability
- could have a sharper ride with touch more feedback yet the comfort was rated 10/10
- options seen as expensive and even HSE Luxury as still incomplete (no 7 seats in Germany, no DAB, no heated / cooled seats etc)
- efficiency of engines should be improved

Another great test below. Remains puzzling many Icelandic test DS were kitted out with a combination none of use can order: black pack so with black letters and grill yet WITHOUT black alloys?

That's the same combination as the photo of a Yulong white DS at the LA launch, may be a American spec?

I read that for the Iceland press event LR fitted the vehicles with studded tyres to comply with Icelandic driving regs. They probably replaced the tyres on the press fleet of DS's with standard alloys fitted with studded winter tyres. Hence the wrong alloys on black pack specced cars.

Don't forget these were VP vehicles, not off production cars, so would have been kitted out with what was available last September :)

Pretty good review from India. During test, the driver mentions that introduction is august 2015 and DS will be manufactured in India. Guess first DS are "proper UK production" and cheaper local alternative is introduced later

I always whondered what the lock/unlock symbol means when you select the various terrain modes? Guess it is to do with whether the diff is locked? If so, can you force it to lock or does the picture represent the as is status?
