Car wash and the coating maintenance day.
I washed the car with Kercher high pressure washer.
Cleaned the body surface with the Cristal Nano Glass Maintenance liquid.
And the finish was the "SiF hi-brid 3000" (Fluorine & Silicon mixed coating).
It was hard but I satisfied with the result.

Loaded mine up with half a forest as I'm off to my son's tomorrow to "help" him with his fence.

Looks first class well done.
Enjoy your DS.

Thanks to all of you who responded to my post.
Though it rains today.
(Rainwater is sliding down the surface of the car. My treat seems to work well)

That looks great! I've never put one of those treatments on one of my cars, I just wash every couple of weeks and use some Autoglym aqua-wax which seems to do the trick of keeping it shiny. But I'm thinking of doing a treatment and my question is how long does it last? In the end for me it's a trade-off between spending a day doing the treatment, and the time it'll save me doing my regular waxes, and that depends how often it needs to be re-done? Thanks.

Hi, Mamil
The SiF hibrid 3000 coating says 1 year but I do it every 6months.
I don't need to do wax or other treatments except for water washing or shampoo washing.
The shine comes back by those treatments. That's the benefit of the glass coating.
I also have the Autoglym gross protection and sometimes use it but there are small differences between them (water washing+ alchole wipe and Autoglym gross protection)
I strongly recommend you to use the glass coating chemical.

P.S. if you drive the DS in the off-road frequently you don't need to do this.

Thanks for that. I'll look into what treatments are available locally and may try one out. I don't do much off-roading and something like this would likely be very useful to stop our sticky red dust staining the paintwork anyway.

Thought about my most recent DS,and am glad it's gone. Though miss my 65 plate it was a gem

D5 is amazing, and much happier on 20" rims. 22 was just too little rubber

Love the colour and styling of your DS Yamashita, but love the look of the house behind it even more!! ;)

I have asked before but does anyone knows if the privace glass has uv protection?

I don't think the privacy glass gives UV protection from what I believe but I am not exactly authoritative on the subject.

I think its only a tint and is not like the UV windscreen option you can get.

It's just a tint ( sadly no sun protection )

Pulled out a tree root, very good "Tug boat". Wheels were on gravel and was very sure footed.

A novel idea Pedro. In our village this morning they were using a tractor to do the same thing. ;)
