Hi all.
Has anybody tried replacing the 5v usb A socket by the cup holders with a USB-C one? I can not think why something like below would not work, except for maybe LR using some unique plug instead of 2 standard spade connectors, not normally an issue but day 1 of ownership so wouldnt want to cut plugs off yet lol.

Just use a cable with a USB c adapter. Why make things more difficult?

Because I want it to charge my phone at a fast rate while watching netflix etc on my lunch break. If i’m streaming I find the older 1a/2.4a sockets do not add alot of charge in 30mins. Not fond of the idea of crimping cable under armrest to use that. One for second row would need a longer cable and im already using a 2m one.

Could you not use a plug in power adaptor in the 12v socket in the armrest?
