Hello
I’m after the one person in the universe who knows where the stop start battery is on my DS HSE 2018. I’ve looked in the boot and there’s a small flap on the left, behind which is a fuse panel. I can’t see that any other area of carpet or panelling can be removed. I’d love any help please.
Many thanks
Andy

Keep on looking because there is no extra battery, just the one under the hood/bonnet

Agreed - just replaced the main battery on mine as an attempt to fix the stop-start (what a palava - never had to disconnect/remove so much just to swap a battery).
Stop-start still doesn't work so going to visit my friendly mechanic and get the BMS reset tomorrow.

A BMS reset fixed my stop start without having to change the battery.

Cheers - had the BMS done a couple of days ago and all well again.
I may have got away with it I guess but I had the battery tested and the Cold Cranking Amps came back at 380 rather than the 800 it started with. It doesn't get that many long runs and with even less over the Covid period, plus having spent 6 months parked at the dealer before I bought it, I figured the battery wasn't in the best condition and a new one before the winter was prudent.
How did you get yours reset? My local mechanic tried all his computers but couldn't do it so I ended up at a specialist.

Worth getting yourself a CTEK MKS 5.0 battery charger

It was reset at the dealers during it's service as I'd flagged it as an issue.
