Which engine? 2.2 or 2.0 ingenium and presumably diesel. If it's running OK I would forget the app. You might get contacted about the security update but I don't know how far back they are going with that which would be free, you could contact a dealer with your VIN no about whether you could be in line for that. Incidentally I don't know if it's relevant but I read that some of the earlier cars rely on a 3G signal which is being turned off around the country and the cars can't be upgraded to 4G. I have a 2020 model and can't see the point in using the app personally.
