i drove for 2.5 years an evoque coupe
i did lowered it with 3 cm H&R springs
and put spacers on each wheel (wide +2 cm)

It LOOKED much better and it handled much better
thats why
(because i don't drive off road)

It's up to the owner but Land Rovers are made to go off road, hence the ground clearance. I would not want it to be any less.

Hey thats my saying, but i think we should all use it, when its apropraite,

Re: Lowering a DS; Yes it can be done, why not. Just use an angle grinder to lopp off a few coils, and while your widening the track i'd reccomend sticking some arches on it, Off an Old Manta GTE or similar,

Thata bound to LOOK much better and its bound to handle better, after all , thats why we buy these cars, because they go round corners like a roller skate, hugging the ground like an F1 car, sparks flying as the belly plate skims the tarmac in the Drive Thru !

P.S. None of this will affect your warranty,

You all speak of the DS as an off road car, and yes it is but how many of you guys will ever change your off road settings from road use ?
You slag chalky for the bold idea of lowering a DS but it would probably look better and who needs 600mm wading depth ? 550mm might just be adequate ! How many range rovers with the best of 4x4 out there with 22" alloys that would be damaged going up a 4" footpath ? They still look the part though.
