Land Rover has released a short video teasing the interior of the new Discovery Sport that will be revealed in its full glory on September 3rd.
The cabin features a versatile 2+3+2 seating layout that was originally previewed on the Discovery Vision Concept in April, earlier this year. The video shows glimpses of the seating in action and also shows a look at the full panoramic roof in action. There is also a short section that shows a blurry look at the new dashboard. As you can see, the short preview clip doesn't give much away, although familiar Land Rover cabin cues are visible, including the large central touchscreen display, the tall, upright dash and a chunky, multifunction steering wheel.
"The one criticism around Freelander from customers was it's not as versatile, it doesn't use space as effectively as they would like. Discovery Sport will actually do exactly that. It will be the most versatile compact SUV," JLR global operations director Phil Popham told CarAdvice earlier this year.
