Can the treadplates simply be inserted or do you have to dismantle thimgs?

The chrome one I got with the forum discount from Barmeca fit very neatly into the recess .

If fitting the OEM ones then yes things need to be dismantled, if it's the ones described by Moose then no, just stick and go.

 

[Strappe]

If it is the OEM treadplates the interior panel that the plate is fixed to is all one unit.
The Barmeca plates are easy to fit as previously mentioned.
