Incontrol Secure Tracker

I was chatting to someone last night who had a Velar stolen recently. He said, they removed the tracker and left it on the drive, it's so easy to do. He also had a 3rd party tracker installed so wasn't a problem and he got the car back.
When mine came up for renewal, I declined the tracker part. It's odd though. The app still shows the GPS location of the car so aside from telling me the car is stolen, it doesn't seem to add much and really not worth the ÂŁ200+ they charge annually for the privilege.
I fitted a Ghost2 Immobiliser instead, so if they do try to steal it, and select Drive, it just puts itself back into Park. Seemed a better use of the money as if they can't steal it in the first place, I don't need to track it. 2 years of premiums and I'm done.
I rang Admiral to tell them what I'd done and they didn't seem remotely interested. Whether they are this year we'll have to wait and see.

Does the app still show the journey history?
yes, I renewed everything bar the tracker - only ÂŁ35 per year from memory so I still have journeys, car location, warnings if I forget to lock the car, remote start, DEF level etc, just no active tracker.
