Had a proper drive in the dark last night with Adaptive Headlights and High Beam Assist. - V. cool. Really awesome

Good to hear, we have it on our current car (other brand) but for us the high beam didn't work to good, often people flashing their head lights to us and then car swiches back to normal output. The adaptive headlights i can only say I like it, but didn't want to pay extra for it.

Saying this I know technology advanced well in 5y time so I assume it works ways much better, enjoy the rides in the dark

Adaptive lights are good but HBA still can cause issues with other drivers, mine is turned off.

Glad you liked it. I turned HBA off - it dips slower than I do, and you can't over-ride it. But if *she's* driving, it can go on coz she takes ages to register an oncoming car. I also found HBA kept dipping for oncoming road signs.

I didn't find the steery headlights helpful, very odd effect, but best solved by having a wider beam. Seems to me it is a feature to solve a problem which is only introduced by the feature.

Turned it off .... unreliable and annoying to other drivers
