hi all, changing my discs and pads on front at weekend and just checking i have correct tools - does anyone know what socket for calliper bolts, i have the 349mm discs if that makes any difference ?

They're 11mm hex. I had to buy one as it's an odd size. Think the backs are odd too but not the same (9mm maybe).

I got the 11mm from ffx tools for a tenner or so.

11mm is a non-standard metric size. But 7/16" is fairly standard.

11mm = 0.433"
7/16" = 0.437"

Seems like our metric cars are not completely metric :)

Think it's the same sealey one that I bought. They were quite tight on mine but managed to squeeze an impact wrench in there which whipped them right off.

Did brakes today - to my surprise the calliper bolts were normal 13mm bolts - so my advice is check before ordering the 11mm hex 🙄

Different size brakes from (possibly) different suppliers according to engine power, you have D240 with high line brakes, post saying 13mm will have low line brake package on his 2.2.

Thanks - I have high line brakes - d240 and it was 13mm calliper bolts !
