My DS was due last week, but I've been informed a chassis batch has been held back. I've not been told why, but this has made me rather nervous.
Any one else in the same boat?

I was told a similar story, not sure what it means other than it's been impossible to get a firm delivery date. My build date was 12th of June since then the car is listed as off assembly...

Same build date. Can't get any answers, just off assembly but on hold and not released by LR.

It's really making me nervous, I would rather just know the reason, I've got all sorts going through my mind

The post on the tread "does anybody actually like their car" a day or so ago might be the same issue in that a car which has about the same build date is noted as being held for a quality control issue with the recline of the back seats.

Well the plot thickens, today they are trying to tell me a different story, telling me that they are just behind in production, but the. Saying they make 150 cars an hour!
I then got the patronising line of 'you know the trucks that you see on the road, well they carry parts to factory'

I feel like cancelling purely because of the crap I got fed to me today!

Problem is, there's isn't another car I want more.
I've just sold my car, I'm completely car less, and they said they have no idea when my car will be ready

If it's any consolation, I had a mail from my dealership saying the car is going to be 3 - 4 weeks late then the very next week, had a mail saying it will be in, in a few days...!!!!!

Definitely worth holding out for it

A lot of cars were quarantined and were not released in March/April because of the 2nd row seat fold issue, it was down to a faulty spring but as far as I am aware the issue was sorted.

The boss man is desperately trying to back track, saying that they just have a lot to make and it's taking a while to get them through. Still getting the patronising story about 'the big lorries on the motorway are taking parts to the factory' But I know mine is already built and off assembly.
I'm a bit fed up of being patronised, I have no idea of when it will arrive and I have no car a full time job and a 9 month old... It's great fun.

It's all starting to seem very fishy. Am I going to be left with a worthless lump of metal riddled with faults? ... If I ever get the bloody thing!
